You are now entering the Disclosure Unit. In this unit, you will:
- Develop an appreciation for the student's role as a self-advocate and the challenges of self-disclosure.
- Know how to encourage disclosure as a formalized process with confidentiality safeguards.
- Know how to foster a welcoming learning environment for students with disabilities.
- Increase your understanding of the responsibilities faculty, students, and Disability Support Services (DSS) have in the disclosure process.
