Disability Support Services (DSS) should:

  • Secure disability-related documentation. Collect and evaluate information to determine student eligibility for services (2 Law).

  • Develop guidelines for the type of documentation that is acceptable to determine student eligibility. The DSS office has the responsibility to advise students about their current documentation (2 Law) and refer them to sources to obtain additional testing if necessary.
