You are now entering the Accommodations Unit. In this unit, you will:
- Increase your understanding of why it is important to make classroom accommodations for students with disabilities.
- Increase your understanding of the responsibilities faculty, students with disabilities, and Disability Support Services (DSS) have in the process of coordinating accommodations.
- Know the types of common accommodations and services Disability Support Services (DSS) can provide.
- Increase your understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approaches to instruction and how these approaches benefit all students, regardless of disability or learning differences.
