Who's Responsible?

A variety of offices at your institution may be responsible for handing AT access issues. For example, interpreting services may be coordinated out of a different office than alternate document format services. Also, your institution may have a centralized alternative testing center which offers all students who receive extended testing time a centralized place to test, or a decentralized testing model where testing accommodations are provided at the department level. Some institutions use a combination of these. The purpose of this exercise is to create a list of contacts for the different accessibility resources you may need as an instructor.

In order to find these offices, your DSS office is a good place to start. If they don't offer the service themselves, they probably know who does. For each item, please note the name of the office, telephone number, email address and contact name:
