Description:

This Initiative was created to enhance faculty development and student retention through the development of a faculty learning community that focuses on the development of and the infusion of an intensive RWS ( Reading, Writing, Speaking) component in the general education curriculum of three (3) entering first-year learning community groups. RWS infusion is one of three components designed to enhance classroom teaching and learning. The other two components are Critical Thinking and Quantitative Reasoning, and Research and Technology.
