| Description: | |
|
This community will be a cross-institutional Information Literacy Learning Community that brings together faculty and librarian teams from the five institutions in Ohio that will be working on the OBOR Information Literacy Grant program. At present, teams at Bowling Green State University and Kent State University work in distinct Learning Communities as they develop and discipline-specific modules at all five institutions for dissemination throughout Ohio institutions (using a web interface, InfoWizard, developed at BGSU and housed at KSU). In the coming year, teams at three new institutions, College of Mount St. Joseph, Cuyahoga Community College, and University of Cincinnati, will begin developing additional modules. We propose to establish an “Information Literacy Learning Community in Ohio” that brings all these teams into a single learning community that will work collaboratively (face-to-face and electronically) to enhance student and faculty learning in information literacy, in assessing information literacy, in evaluating web-delivery of problem-based information literacy learning objects. |
