| Description: | |
|
The Transdisciplinary Hospice and Palliative Care course will be offered to nurses, art therapists and ministry graduate students. HWR will have a spiritual care professional, art therapist and nurse participate as practitioner learners. This community’s three major goals: 1. Develop a transdisciplinary (ministry, nursing and art therapy) learning community that integrates best hospice/palliative care practice (from clinical practitioner community members) and educational methods (from academic-based community members). 2. Develop case studies to include ministry, art and nursing issues in order to improve critical thinking and patient care. 3. Build a model of transdisciplinary education to foster intellectual and scholarly development in palliative care. |
