Through OLN's successful multi-year Learning Communities Initiative (LCI), the Ohio Learning Network awarded professional development grants that fostered the embedding of technology into teaching and learning. Now a new network of LCI Regional Centers has been established.  In this new partnership, OLN and five Regional Centers will support communities of learners as they innovate, experiment, assess, embed, and share new and effective ways to use technology in teaching and learning. Regional Centers will offer grants to learning communities in their regions, disseminate information and resources, network learners across campuses and disciplines, and examine the critical relationship between technology and increased learning. All Regional Centers will provide similar services, yet each will also tailor their services and timelines to meet local needs.

We invite you to participate in OLN's LCI through your Regional Center. Click on the map to see what (and when) services and events are offered in your area. It is also our intent that many, many new institutions adopt our learning community philosophy!
