About The University System of Ohio’s Learning,
Libraries & Technology Conference
What is Learning, Libraries & Technology Conference?
The USO’s Libraries, Learning & Technology 2009 Conference was
the tenth anniversary of Ohio’s premier higher conference, previously known
as the Ohio Digital Commons for Education Conference. This year’s conference
delivered all the same great professional development and networking opportunities
you’ve come to expect from past conferences, with a focus on:
-
Teaching and Learning in the 21stCentury
-
Student Success
-
Ohio Is Moving Forward
-
Transforming Technologies
-
P-20 Education
The Learning, Libraries and Technology Conference also included keynote
speakers, vendor exhibits, technology demonstrations, and
more.
Who Attends the Learning, Libraries & Technology Conference?
Past conferences have attracted more than 375 attendees from across Ohio, along
with some attendees from outside Ohio. Attendees come from a wide range of higher
education positions, including faculty, librarians, instructional designers, distance
learning directors, professional development personnel, campus and college technology
coordinators, student support personnel and others interested in technology-enabled
education initiatives.
What Attendees Have Said About Past Conferences:
-
"This is without a doubt one of the best educational technology conferences I attend
all year. Ohio educators especially should go to meet and network with great colleagues,
learn about what's happening in the state, and to get new ideas to bring back to your
home institution. In the years that I've attended, I don't think I've ever come away
from it without learning something new and immediately useful."
-
"The conference topics were valuable and helpful. Of all the conferences I have
attended this one was packed with the most to help my students and me develop and
grow. Great opportunity!"
-
"I enjoyed the conference and learned many things I can put to use immediately."
-
As usual, excellent job! I look forward to this conference every year.
