About the ODCE 2007 Conference
What is the ODCE 2007 Conference?
The eighth annual Ohio Digital Commons for Education (ODCE) 2007
Conference - The Convergence of Learning, Libraries and Technology will
be held March 4-6, 2007, in Columbus, Ohio.
The Conference will feature submitted and invited presentations,
technology demonstrations, pre-conference workshops and plenary
presentations on the topics of: effectiveness and efficiencies;
science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine; serving new
audiences; wireless, mobile and personal; reinventing the learning
environment and vendor presentations. Pre-conference workshops will be
held on Sunday, March 4. The full conference will begin on March 5,
2007.
The ODCE 2007 Conference will include keynote speakers, vendor exhibits
and technology demonstrations at Innovation Island.
The Conference will be held at the
Columbus Hilton at Easton Town Center.
The Conference is jointly sponsored by the Ohio
Learning Network, OhioLINK,
and theOhio Supercomputer Center /
OARnet.

What is the Ohio Digital Commons for Education?
The Ohio Digital Commons for Education (ODCE)
is a collaborative initiative of
the Ohio Learning Network, OhioLINK and the Ohio Supercomputer
Center/OARnet to develop leading-edge education resources, services,
and capabilities in Ohio. The commons supports campus sharing of course
management system software, instructional materials and electronic
educational resources. By sharing common tools and resources, the ODCE
provides a cost-effective, competitive advantage in the state.
