Announcing the newest OLN Listserv; ADJUNCT-SUPPORT. This is a moderated listserv that discusses the issues pertaining to supporting Adjunct Faculty. A few contributors to the list have suggested that list subscribers grapple with:
Creating a list of areas that all adjuncts should be aware of in orientation -- including benefits, professional development, and legal.
Cultural or environmental issues. Being a part-time instructor affects how well we know the processes at our institutions and even our sense of place and loyalty to the institution. How might this adjunct support resource be used to recognize the unique perspectives of adjuncts?
