Your institution offers a Disability Studies program. Enrollment is growing steadily in these classes but not as quickly as you, the Chair of the Disability Studies Department, would like. You want to know what attracted students to the program who are in current classes. You have gathered together your team of stakeholders, researched existing data, developed some research questions, and are now ready to develop a survey instrument. Survey development is not your area of expertise, so you hire a consultant to facilitate putting the survey instrument together.
